Renee Doropoulos (b. 1980, Subiaco) is a Boorloo/Perth-based artist whose practice explores memory, place, environmental change, and cultural identity through analogue and digital photography, moving image, and camera-less darkroom processes, drawing on both historical photographic techniques and contemporary approaches.
Renee has exhibited in group exhibitions at Cheap Tongue Gallery (Walyalup/Fremantle, 2025), PS Art Space (Walyalup/Fremantle, 2019), Fringe World (Boorloo/Perth, 2017), the Perth Centre for Photography (Boorloo/Perth, 2016) and FotoFreo (Walyalup/Fremantle, 2006). Renee’s work has been shortlisted for the City of Wanneroo Art Award (Wanneroo, 2026), the Iris Award (Perth, 2005, 2015, 2025), and the Mono Awards (2025), and has been featured in Terra Firma and Australian Photography. -
